Anastasia: HIM Debuts On Rock Band, Plus Singles From Marilyn Manson, The Police & More February 19, 2010 Cambridge, Mass. – Feb. 19, 2009 – Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that a three pack of songs from Finnish rockers HIM, as well as singles from KSM, Marilyn Manson, One Night Only and The Police, will be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™. These are among the more than 400 artists currently available through the Rock Band platform. With more than 1,000 songs available, Rock Band is, without question, the industry leader in providing the best selection of interactive musical content, songs and artists. Rock Band DLC Additions for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 System and Wii Helsinki-formed rockers HIM make their Rock Band debut next week with a three pack of songs, including “Heartkiller” and “Ode to Solitude,” from their latest and seventh studio album, Screamworks: Love in Theory and Practice, Chapters 1–13, which was released Feb. 9 in the United States, debuting as No. 1 Hard Rock Record and No. 25 overall on the Billboard 200. The pack also includes “Wings of a Butterfly,” from 2005’s Dark Light. The band is currently touring worldwide through August 2010 in support of their new album. Also available in the Rock Band Music Store next week are singles from KSM (“Distracted”), Marilyn Manson (“The Dope Show”), One Night Only (“Just for Tonight”) and The Police (“Walking On the Moon”). Just make a video of yourself performing "Heartkiller" on Rock Band and upload it to the HIM’s YouTube Channel and tag the video “Official HIM Rock Band Entry” on March 25th at exactly 10 p.m. ET and you will be entered into an official contest in which the members of HIM will choose the Top 5 best performance videos. The band are asking fans to film their performances and post them at the same time in order to set the world record for the largest global Rock Band performance ever!
