Причем, многих россиян, которые держатся корректно, да еще кто хорошо говорит по-английски, даже не опознают как русских... поэтому плохое заметнее...
Vivien Lee: единственное, что меня смущает в этой заметке "про фанатов", так это то, что там нет ни слова про новый альбом...ведь именно это сейчас актуально и про это пишут всюду, где только мелькает имя группы или фронтмена. Эти строки как буд-то вырваны из более крупного интервью (возможно), а так, похоже на что-то самодельное. (Зачем сейчас, перед выходом альбома, говорить подобные вещи? Нет логики)

Пэнси, а кого ты призываешь держать себя в руках? насколько я знаю, с нашего форума никто в дом не ломился, на заборах не висел, отца Валыча не пытал вопросами личной жизни сына. а остальные... ну вот как вот в этом случае доказывать, что мы-то не верблюды? я не представляю просто.

Entering into the building and walking past dozens of gold/platinum records hanged against the wall. HIM's manager Seppo Vesterinen runs busy in corridors with cell phone to his ear with the band (with the exception of Ville) sitting on Finnvox famous sofas. Mini fridge is full with beer, sidukkaa, spirits, sparkling wine and vitamin water in all colors. The first to arrive journalists are invited to fill glasses and enjoy the snacks. Three moments later Ville arrives and everyone are ushered to Finnvox spacious B-studio. "No one is daring to sit in the front row. Hey, where's the fatman?", Ville with his eyes searches the band's drummer Gas. Gas keeps calling out from the back row with some friends. Valo heads with the group over to the front row. Universal's representatives praised Tears On Tape album listening can begin. "Skåål and kikkeliskokkelis!", shouts HIM-singer of their new album early before listening starts and walks away from the desk. "I've heard the album a few times". Valo jokes staring the music with rising red cheeks. The record is really impossible to give one criticism of listening. Yes, it sounds like HIM; you can hear doom, Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, a bit of 70's glam, a little tiny bit of psychedelia and also Dingoa. Melodic, atmospheric and familiar. Many of the songs start with a very different tone than the end, a song may initially sound like a children's nursery rhymes and end with heavy-doom-cadence. Atmosphere is buzzing, some listeners entered their own worlds, as many people have their eyes closed. "My favorite songs are When Love Starts to Die and Into the Night. They spring from the Millennium pre tags. This reminds me of our first meeting. I remember very well when their first album came out, and the band has been to me very relevant. A special feature is the fact that I have never interviewed Ville Valo, even though almost all other domestic artists I had. It's a bit like me as editor of Mount Everest", Hintikka jokes. Many on the spot describe the album as difficult to digest(?) after the first hearing. "The disc is made with a heavy hand and does not disappoint anyone. Yes, I liked it very much, it made me a bit confused, which is only a good thing. It was ultimate HIM, but a step in a new direction was taken. It requires to be listened again", New Mountain says. HIM, who have returned from the generous 2-years-lasting break from touring, will release their 8th studio album, Tears On Tape, in the end of April. Ilta-Sanomat listened to the new album in the legendary Finnvox Studio in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. Ville Valo, the frontman of the band, has heard the finished product for tens of times already, so his next point of nervousness is the upcoming tour. In Finland, the band will be seen next in 6th of July in Ruisrock, Turku and 27th of July in Qstock, Oulu. - The performing itself doesn't make me nervous but sitting in the bus and touring does. I'll get used to it in a couple of days as the old ass-touch is still there, Valo ponders. The band doesn't fear that their audience would have left the band during the break. HIM shouldn't have anything to be afraid of because the fans of the band are nominated in the category of the most faithful fanbase in the Golden Gold Awards of the music magazine called Revolver. - In the end of April, we'll tour in the States and Europe and many of those gigs are sold out. It proves that the crowds haven't become completely demented yet. Of course the entertainment world is moving terribly fast these days and it's impossible to predict who will stay aboard and who won't. But there's no point in being stressed out about that. The fact that the orchestra likes what it's doing is what matters. If it doesn't bear fruit, then one has to begin to consider doing something else. The songs of the new album are written by Ville Valo, as usual. Valo lived completely without alcohol and nearly without cigarettes for a few years but now the stimulants are back in the man's life. However, he doesn't see that he'd need controlled substances to find a better state of creating. - The cork is either shut or open. There is no transitional form, the man describes his situation. - It feels weird that they say that poptune artists, for example, work drunk. Basically, nobody can work drunk. Intoxication is what you go to look for when you've worked for so long that your head is getting overloaded. It's a bottle on Friday or going to a pub after work. Lately there has been so much work to do that one can't party and work at the same time. Right now I'd rather sit here than in some pub. According to Valo, Finnish people often have an accusing attitude when it comes to consuming alcohol. - Our band has been blessed as these Finnish hillbillies who have never been to anywhere get to tour around the world and to play to thousands of people. There's nothing bad about uncorking a bottle of sparkling wine in the end of it, Valo ponders.
